This amazing historical wall is found in Dawero Zone which is situated in a distance of 450 k/ms from Addis Ababa &236kms from Hawassa through Sodo-Chida road. It covers a length of 175kms along the borders of the Dowero Zone with the neighboring zones. This spectacular wall was was built in medieval period by king Halala to defend the Dawero people from the invasion of enemies especially wolayta, Kembata, & keffa. Its height is 3 meters & 1.5 meters thickness. It has 7 rows on flat places & one raw in steep slopes.
